No. Everything is managed through the business portal at business.vistoryapp.com on any web browser — desktop or mobile. Your customers use the Vistory app; you use the web portal.

They are clearly distinct in the app. Local Discovery markers use a copper outline storefront pin — never confused with the solid copper pins used for verified historical content. They appear in a separate section of the group activity feed.

Featured pins have a gentle pulsing animation — the pin softly breathes to draw the eye without being distracting. Campaign pins have a pulsing halo effect — rings that emanate outward from the pin, making it the most attention-gathering marker on the map.

After you submit your marker details through the portal, our team reviews and approves within 1–2 business days. Once approved, your pin appears on the Vistory map immediately.

Yes. The Campaign tier ($599/yr) includes up to 5 markers, each with its own icon, color, and location. Perfect for businesses with multiple storefronts or locations around town.

You'll receive a renewal notice before your listing expires. If you renew, your marker stays live without interruption. If you choose not to renew, your marker is removed from the app at the end of your 12-month term.
